Landlords & letting agents
The annual cylinder service usually sits with the landlord, but most tenancy agreements pass it to the tenant to arrange, and insurers require it either way. Give your tenants a direct booking link and they book the safety check themselves. No back and forth through your office or ours.
How the tenant channel works
- 1
Send the link
Forward the booking link to your tenant by email or text. That is the whole job.
- 2
Tenant books direct
They pick a slot that suits them, from two days ahead up to about twelve weeks.
- 3
We do the check
The engineer services the cylinder and completes the safety check. Everyone is covered.
Common questions
Who is responsible, landlord or tenant?
Legally it usually sits with the landlord, but most tenancy agreements pass the annual cylinder service to the tenant, so in practice the tenant is often the one arranging it. Most home insurers require an annual check on pressurised cylinders either way.
Can we book on the tenant's behalf?
Yes. Agents and landlords can use the same booking link, or call the office and we will arrange access with the tenant directly.
What about a portfolio of properties?
Talk to us. We can plan servicing across your properties so renewals do not all land at once.
