What counts as an emergency
- A burst pipe or a leak you cannot stop
- Water coming through a ceiling or into electrics
- No heating or hot water at all
- A cylinder or boiler making worrying noises or leaking
Dripping tap or a slow drain? That is a routine job: book a plumbing slot online and save yourself the call-out.
While you wait
Water pouring out?
Turn off the water at your stopcock if you can reach it safely. It is usually under the kitchen sink or where the mains enters the property.
Leak near electrics?
Do not touch wet switches or appliances. If it is safe to do so, switch off the affected circuit at the fuse board and keep clear.
No heating or hot water?
Check the obvious first: power to the boiler, the thermostat and any timer. If it is still dead, call us.
